What a template installs
A dashboard template creates a dashboard with its widgets, and usually the workflows, agents and schedules that feed it. A workflow template creates a workflow and its schedule, plus any agents it uses. Everything lands in your current project as ordinary records you can rename, edit or delete.
Installing never starts a run. Widgets that stream market data fill at once, or as soon as you pick a symbol on a per-symbol board such as Stock Details. Widgets fed by a workflow stay empty until it runs.
Dashboard templates
Each creates one dashboard.
| Template | What it creates | Schedule it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Market Regime | 11 widgets, the Market Regime workflow and the Regime Summarizer agent | Weekdays at 12:00 UTC |
| Options Flow | 15 widgets | None |
| Watchlist Overview | 14 widgets, the Daily Pulse workflow and the Briefing Writer agent, plus Committee Analysis if the project lacks it | Daily Pulse weekdays at 12:30 UTC, and Committee Analysis at 12:00 UTC if it installs it |
| Stock Details | 27 widgets, plus Committee Analysis if the project lacks it | None. A Committee Analysis it installs starts paused. |
| Earnings Analysis | 24 widgets and the Earnings Analysis workflow | None |
Market Regime reads whether the market is risk-on or risk-off, with two years of history.
Options Flow streams the options tape and costs no credits. Its description says it requires an Unusual Whales API key, but that key is Orbital's, and there is nowhere to add your own.
Watchlist Overview needs the Watchlists app on in the project and pairs the market with your default watchlist: the committee's ranking, a morning briefing, news and large options prints. Set a default list first with the star (Set as default) on the Watchlists page. Without one, its workflows use twelve large US stocks.
Stock Details follows the dashboard's active symbol. Its committee widgets fill once you run the committee for that symbol from Run.
Earnings Analysis is a pre-earnings workspace for one symbol. Its option Lookback quarters takes 1 to 12 past quarters, default 12. Its AI analysis fills, and spends credits, only when you run the workflow.
Workflow templates
Committee Analysis creates a workflow, five specialist agents and a Committee Chair. The specialists analyze each symbol on your default watchlist, and the Chair writes one verdict per symbol, so the cost grows with the length of the list. The six also sit in an Investment Committee channel on the Agents page, where you can question them. See Channels and teams.
Its one option, Weekday auto-run schedule, is ticked (Enabled) by default and runs the workflow on weekdays at 12:00 UTC. Untick it to install the schedule paused. From the second run on, a verdict that flips or whose conviction shifts sharply raises an alert in Notifications.
Sector Percentile Cache has no dashboard and costs no credits. On weekdays at 10:00 UTC it writes per-sector statistics for 110 large-cap stocks to memory, which a workflow you build can read with a Memory Recent node.
Install a template
Open the gallery
On the Dashboards page, click Create Dashboard for the dashboard templates. Create workflow on the Workflows page opens the workflow templates.
Pick a card
Its badge gives the cost in credits: 0 cr, a monthly estimate such as ~70 cr/mo, or a per-run one such as ~300 cr/run.
Check for a blocker
A line starting Cannot install: names anything missing, and Install template stays disabled. If it reads The Watchlists app is turned off in this project, switch Watchlists on for this project in Apps.
Set the options
Fill any field under Configure. Dashboard name or Workflow name is optional; blank keeps the template's name.
Click Install template
You land on the new dashboard, or on the workflow when the template needs a first Run or has no dashboard. An install is refused, and nothing is created, when the totals in Counts toward plan resources, beneath the button, would pass a plan limit. For Watchlist Overview and Stock Details, those totals include Committee Analysis even when the install would reuse yours. Installing a template again creates a second copy.
Change things after install
To change or pause a template's schedule, open its workflow and click Automations (the lightning button), where the schedule is listed by name, such as Market Regime schedule. See Where schedules live.
Committee Analysis and Daily Pulse keep the watchlist that was your default at install. To use another list, pick it under Saved watchlist in each workflow's Input node. In Committee Analysis, leave the second Input node alone: it lists SPY and the sector ETFs as benchmarks. The Whale prints on your names widget keeps the symbols the list held at install, so names you add later are left out.
Deleting a template dashboard moves it to Trash for 30 days. Its workflows and agents stay, and their schedules keep running. Pause or delete them separately, once no other board uses them.
Update a template
When a template gains new content, its card shows a chip such as Update v1.1.2 → v1.2.3.
Open the card and click Review update
Choose how to update
Update in place, marked Recommended, keeps your layout and your changes. Fresh reinstall installs the latest version as new and switches your current copy off, renaming the old dashboard with the date, such as Market Regime (archived 2026-11-02). Your changes do not carry over, and nothing is deleted.
Confirm
Click Update to or Reinstall at, followed by the new version.
Some updates cannot be applied in place, such as one that adds a workflow or changes something you changed. The panel then reads This one can't be updated in place and offers only Fresh reinstall.
An in-place update rewrites the canvas of each workflow it changes. If you saved a version of a workflow, its schedule keeps running main until you save the update as a version and make it main.
